“As a denim lecturer/professor for more than 20 years, currently teaching across four major fashion universities in the UK, UAL Central St Martins, UAL London College of Fashion, Kingston University, and Ravensbourne University, I teach hundreds of fashion students each year through my denim-making workshops, workshops on construction, historical workshops and mentorship programs. At the end of my lectures, many students and lecturers ask if I have a book about the samples I show each year. “surprisingly, not yet” has been my answer. So creating an ENDRIME® ARCHIVE book series was in the back of my mind for many years.” —Mohsin Sajid.
The ENDRIME® ARCHIVE Vol 1 is intermixed with styles designed by ENDRIME® over 22 years and shares the context of where some details have come from. Historical research on early French workwear and garments predating the invention of the overall/blue jeans in 1872/3, with denim’s early tailoring roots in Europe.
The ENDRIME® ARCHIVE Vol 1 also features collections from other designers. It features archive collections from the CONE DENIM® Found Collection and key pieces from the Levi Strauss & Co Archive. The book also features Naked and Famous Denim, MTTR Projects, multiple TENCEL™ projects: Bast Recast, Bossa Denim, Naveena, CONE DENIM® Nothing Goes to Waste collections, Advance Denim, Levi Strauss’s very first laser collection in 2002 and a few other guest collections throughout the archive book.
